Nnamdi Oduamadi says he is delighted to be named on the Super Eagles World Cup provisional roster, but he deserves a place after his contribution during the qualifiers.

Remember that in a World Cup qualifier held last year, the Varese man netted a last minute equalizer against a stubborn Kenya before scoring a famous hat - trick against Tahiti at the Fifa Confederations Cup three months later.

Speaking to SL10.ng, the winger said : “I am happy I made the 30 - man list. My move to Varese changed everything because I got playing time and I contributed to the goals scored by the club.

“But I really need to continue working hard in training to make the 23 - man squad.”

23 - year - old Nnamdi Oduamadi has dressed 12 times for the Super Eagles since his debut against Kenya.
