Jagiellonia Biaå‚ystok central defender Ugochukwu Ukah is not losing sleep in the wake of being snubbed as Stephen Keshi unveiled the likely players expected to grace the mundial during the week.

The Italian - Nigerian has failed to add to his solitary international cap which he picked up in Stephen Keshi’s second game as Eagles boss, against Zambia back in November 2011.

“My playing in the Polish championship has nothing to do with my omission. I haven’t been called up since the game with Zambia in Kaduna and it would have been a difficult call.

“But I always hoped to be invited as I gave my best this season. Never mind, my next target is making the 2015 African Cup of Nations squad.

“I guess if I move to a top league this summer, it would aid my national team chances,” the x Queens Park Rangers man explained to allnigeriasoccer.com.

The 30 - year - old is currently in talks with the Jagiellonia Biaå‚ystok brass over the extension of his contract which expires at the end of this season.
