Chievo Verona Working On Deal To Sign Victor Obinna On Loan
Published: June 04, 2014According to reporting by Il Corriere di Verona, Chievo Verona have not thrown in the towel in their bid to sign Nigeria international Victor Obinna, 27.
The winger cum attacker arrived the Serie A side on loan in the January transfer window from Lokomotiv Moscow, and that agreement is officially set to end on June 30, 2014.
There is no green-light yet from the Lokomotiv Moscow brass that the Super Eagle is in the plans of manager Leonid Kuchuk next season.
Chievo Verona intend to open talks with their Russian counterparts in the coming days to discuss the possibility of acquiring him on a temporary basis this summer.
It has been reported that Stephen Keshi did not include the former West Ham and Inter Milan ace on the 23 - man roster because of his physical problems.
