Edward Ofere Will Not Rule Out Return To Denmark
Published: June 18, 2014Danish Superliga side FC Vestsjælland recently announced that they will not be extending the contract of Edward Ofere when it expires in the next 12 days.
The soon - to - be - free agent, who joined FCV last spring, has stated that he won’t rule out a move to Denmark in future.
“I still feel that I have some good years left in me, so it is first and foremost about the sport. I want to join a team as soon as possible. Whether it is in Denmark, Sweden or elsewhere in Europe,” says Edward Ofere to FotbollDirekt.se.
The 28 - year - old netted 2 goals in his first 6 games before injury curtailed his appearances in the championship.
“It was a good experience to play in Denmark. It is very similar to Allsvenskan, but the game is played more and it goes a little faster. But it is also a physically tough league,” the ex Malmo man added.
Edward Ofere is in the possession of a Swedish passport, meaning he will escape the red tape rule in the top European Leagues.
