Stephen Keshi Not Thinking About Argentina Now
Published: June 21, 2014Should Argentina defeat Iran in their second group game, in all likelihood, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi could be rested for the tie with Nigeria next week.
“No matter whether Messi plays or not. But do not wanna talk about it now, I’d rather talk about the game tomorrow.
“The game of Argentina is a problem for Wednesday of next week,” Keshi told reporters at a press conference.
Nigeria have never defeated Argentina at the World Cup, suffering three defeats at USA 1994, South Korea/Japan 2002 and South Africa 2010.
The Super Eagles will square off with the Dragons on Saturday evening, starting from 1900 hours local time.
