Charles Nwaogu Training With Gornik Zabrze
Published: June 23, 2014Ahead of a contract offer, Nigerian striker Charles Nwaogu is trying his luck at Górnik Zabrze, who campaign in the Polish Ekstraklasa.
The 23 - year - old spent a portion of last season at Podbeskidzie, for whom he made three appearances in the top - tier.
And before then, he had two different spells at Flota �winouj�cie, and also represented Arka Gdynia and Energie Cottbus.
Charles Nwaogu was the top scorer in the Polish 1 Liga back in the 2010 - 2011 season with 20 strikes in 31 matches.
But he fell off the radar after a brief stint in Germany with Energie Cottbus, having failed to make an official appearance for the club in the 2 Bundesliga.
The former Pepsi Football Academy starlet was voted the best foreign player in the second - tier of Polish football three years ago.
