Genoa, Catania Bosses Arrive Nigeria To Scout For Talents
Published: June 27, 2014Allnigeriasoccer.com has been specially informed that Sporting Director of Genoa, Bega Francesco and his counterpart at fellow Italian side Catania, Monaco Salvatore, will be arriving Nigeria on Friday, June 27, to scout for talents, ahead of the resumption of the championship.
Both distinguished Italian football personalities have been invited to Africa by Samuel Egbukwu, the sole financier and proprietor of nursery team, Samvic Football Academy, to run the rule over some of the youngsters in his stable.
The screening exercise, which will hold at Children International College field, Lekki, is scheduled to last for three days, beginning from June 28 and ending June 30.
When Samuel Egbukwu is not involved in football matters, he oversees Samvic Italy Furniture located at 19 Sanusi Fafunwa Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Genoa finished 14th in the Serie A last season, while Catania will be playing in the second - tier in the 2014 - 2015 campaign after placing 18th in the standings.
