Tables Have Now Turned As Mikel Is Proposed To Inter Milan
It has been reported that Chelsea are desperate to get John Obi Mikel off the wage bill before the close of the summer transfer window, with the midfielder proposed to several Italian teams for a transfer fee in the region of 6 million Euros.

The Nigeria international is surplus to requirement at Stamford Bridge following the acquisition of Fabregas and the imminent arrival of German World Cup winner Sami Khedira from Real Madrid.

Before the World Cup, the Nigeria international was heavily courted by Inter Milan, but after an indifferent performance for the Super Eagles at the tournament in Brazil,  the Nerazzurri shifted their focus to Yann Mvila and promptly signed him.

And the powers that be at the Serie A outfit have almost concluded transfer talks with another defensive midfielder Gary Medel (Swansea City), writes fcinternews.it.

Few months back, the ball was in Chelsea
’s court but the club were dillydallying and failed to strike terms with Inter Milan.

Now, the tables have turned and the Londoners have proposed Mikel to Inter Milan, but a deal is unlikely to materialize because of the reasons earlier mentioned.
