The 17 - year - old progressed through the ranks at Hibernians before making his Premier League debut against Sliema Wanderers on August 27.

“I have arranged for Joseph to have a week’s trial with Bolton Wanderers from Monday with a view to signing a deal.

“He will train with the Under 21 and senior side. I would say he plays like Jay Jay Okocha.

“He is not a striker, he is a winger or a number 10. His secondary position is striker, ” George Alawode-Williams, Director of New Breed Sports Management, told allnigeriasoccer.com.

It is believed that Joseph Mbong put himself in the shop window at the Euro 17s staged in the Island Nation a couple of months ago.
