John Ogu Hoping To Complete Hapoel Beer Sheva Move On Sunday
Published: September 05, 2014Nigeria international John Ogu expects to complete his move to Hapoel Be’er Sheva at the start of next week, after agreeing personal terms with the Israeli Premier League vice - champions.
The 26 - year - old would have signed on the dotted line before Sunday, but he is awaiting the results of the medical examination that was conducted on Thursday.
“It is all good. I will sign on Sunday if the result of the blood test I did today ( Thursday ) comes out on Saturday. It is a public holiday here on Friday and Saturday. The country is very religious, ” says John Ogu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The ex Academica man has stated that he has been warmly welcomed by the top brass of the Camels.
“The Coach and Director welcomed and congratulated me. I met the President today (Thursday, ed), so God is in control,” he added.
The combative midfielder made his competitive debut for the Super Eagles in 2013 against Kenya in a World Cup qualifier.
