Bartholomew Ogbeche Is Officially The Best Nigerian Striker In Europe, After Netting Brace Against Dordrecht
Published: October 04, 2014Bartholomew Ogbeche is now officially the second leading marksman in the Dutch Eredivisie after he netted a brace in Cambuur’s 4 - 1 defeat of FC Dordrecht on Saturday.
The former Nigeria international registered his name on the score - sheet either side of the half, taking his tally this season to 5 goals in 8 games.
With the league yet to get to the halfway stage, Ogbeche could surpass his best ever goal haul, which he set four years ago while defending the colours of Cadiz in the Spanish second - tier.
Then, it took the ex PSG wonder-kid 28 matches (22 games from the start ) to score 9 goals.
Based on UEFA’s coefficient, Barthlomew Ogbeche is Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe’s top 20 leagues, not taking into account the Belarusian championship which began six months ago.
