Yussuf Ayila Wants Permanent Metalist Contract
Published: November 04, 2014Dynamo Kiev loanee Yussuf Ayila has already started thinking about his future with Metalist seven months before the agreement he has with both teams will expire.
The Nigeria international, who is undergoing rehabilitation after picking up a knee injury, has reiterated his desire to remain with Metalist beyond June 30, 2014.
“I wish I could stay in the Metalist? Of course I want to. If they do not want me at Metalist, then so be it. There are other teams. The most important thing at the moment is to recover from the surgery, because football - it’s my life,”Ayila was quoted as saying by football.ua.
The 30 - year - old added : “"If you watched the video, Legia striker hit me in the knee, and I felt it. It’s a shame to be injured when I began to play and was in good shape.”
Yussuf Ayila believes he can continue playing at a high level for the next two - three years.
