Chidi Omeje Keeps Dalkurd Waiting On Contract Extension
Published: November 10, 2014Free agent Chidi Omeje has kept Dalkurd chiefs waiting on the extension of his contract, after his former agreement expired at the end of October.
The 24 - year - old bagged 11 goals in the Swedish Division Norra, which contributed to Dalkurd ending the season in third place, narrowly missing the promotion play - offs by one point.
“I am currently a free player and I’m waiting on my agent to speak to some clubs. Dalkurd offered me a new contract but I’m weighing my other options.
“We did not speak on the length of the contract but they are ready to give me a deal,” said Chidi Omeje to allnigeriasoccer.com.
He has been on the books of Dalkurd for the past four seasons, and netted 43 goals in the league during that period.
