Inter Milan, Southampton Rival AC Milan For Stefano Okaka
Published: November 22, 2014Ahead of the January transfer window, Inter Milan are on the trail of newly capped Italy international Stefano Okaka, who plies his trade for Sampdoria.
FCInternews.it says coach Roberto Mancini has been a long - term admirer of the Italian - Nigerian, and tried to sign him as replacement for Didier Drogba while he was tutoring Galatasaray.
To land the signature of Stefano Okaka, Inter Milan face competition from city rivals AC Milan plus a plethora of foreign teams,including Schalke, Stuttgart, Everton and Southampton.
But their main problem would be attempting to convince him to dump Sampdoria, where he is under contract till the summer of 2016.
If Okaka makes his way to Inter Milan, he would join Nigeria international Joel Obi at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
