Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Imoh Ezekiel pockets US$2 million net per season at Al Arabi, contrary to reports that emanated from the Belgian press and reproduced by several media outlets in Nigeria.

It was wrongly reported that Ezekiel was to earn $15.2 million in the four - year deal with the Qatar Stars League side, and Standard Liege were credited with the sum of $10.8 million for agreeing to do business with their Asian counterparts.

Now, it has come to light that Al Arabi paid 5.5 million Euros to secure the signature of the 21 - year - old this summer.

The deal that took Imoh Ezekiel to Al Arabi was brokered by influential Israeli agent Dudu Dahan in collaboration with Qatar Federation licensed agent Lemsagam Abdullah.
