Heartland To Pocket =N=110 Million From Sale Of Olarenwaju Kayode, IF Release Clause Is Met
Published: November 27, 2014
Glo Premier League side Heartland of Owerri will hit the jackpot if Maccabi Netanya striker Olarenwaju Kayode is sold by the Israeli team in the January transfer window.
Sports Walla has reported that the domiciliary account of the Naze Millionaires will be credited with 30 percent of the transfer income expected to be received by the First Division champions.
And the Nigerian club have threatened to throw a spanner in the works regarding the imminent switch of the ex Flying Eagles star to a European team if Maccabi Netanya refuse to play ball.
For that reason, The Diamonds have increased the transfer fee of Olarenwaju Kayode to 1.5 million euros, meaning Heartland will pocket the sum of 500,000 euros (equivalent of =N=110 million) if he moves on to greener pastures.
Though Serie A clubs Sassuolo and Chievo Verona have been credited with an interest, allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Olarenwaju Kayode might be heading to Belgium when the market reopens.
