Watford Loanee Uche Ikpeazu Dedicates Debut Goal To Mom
Published: November 30, 2014Watford loanee Uche Ikpeazu did not waste time in reminding Crewe Alexandra about what they were missing since they allowed him depart the Railwaymen at the end of last season.
In his first appearance for the League One club after he completed his loan move from the Hornets, the Anglo - Nigerian forward took only half an hour to open his goalscoring account as Crewe played a 1 - 1 draw with Doncaster Rovers.
In his post match comments, the 19 - year - old is hoping to surpass the four - goal haul he achieved last season, and has dedicated his Man of the Match award to his mom.
“Thank you Lord, good to score on my debut return. Decent 1-1 draw hopefully many more goals and no injuries, mum Marion Lule Ikpeazu, my man of the match champagne is waiting for you, goal was for you,” Uche Ikpeazu said.
The youngster is on loan at Crewe Alexandra till January 25, 2014.
