Newcastle United To Reward Sammy Ameobi With New Deal
Published: December 09, 2014Newcastle United are set to begin talks with Anglo - Nigerian striker Sammy Ameobi over the extension of his contract in the coming weeks.
The electronic edition of The Sun writes that the 22 - year - old could be rewarded with a fresh deal following his imperious displays for the Toons this season, especially in the Premier League.
The ex Flying Eagles trainee has recorded 11 appearances in the topflight in the 2014 - 2015 campaign, scoring once in the process, against Tottenham Hotspur in October.
Sammy Ameobi has played nonstop at Newcastle United for the past six years, apart from a brief loan stint with Middlesbrough for a portion of last season.
His current deal with Newcastle United will expire on June 30, 2015.
