Exclusive : Alhaji Gero Happy To Sign Three - Year Contract With Viborg
Former Flying Eagles forward Alhaji Gero has put an end to speculation surrounding his future by penning a three - year deal with Danish First Division club Viborg.

The 21 - year - old had been on the books of another Scandinavian team, Osters, for the past 16 months, but he had to seek greener pastures elsewhere after they lost their Superettan status at the end of the 2014 season.

“I have signed a three - year deal with Viborg FF. I will play with the number 17 jersey at this club, ” says Alhaji Gero to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“I am still in Sweden but I hope to join my new team on January 5. I am happy I chose Viborg because it is a good team with high ambitions. ”

The Enugu Rangers product scored 9 goals in 36 appearances for his former team Osters.
