Oparanozie Continues Good Fortune In Front Of Goal
Desire Oparanozie maintained her rich form as she scored a goal for Guingamp, who recorded a convincing 4-2 win against Rodez at the Stade Paul Lignon on Sunday.

The former Wolfsburg forward has netted nine goals in eleven appearances for the French side in the on-going League season.

It took Guingamp just six minutes to open the scoring with Griedge Mbock Bathy Nka smashing home with a clinical finish.

The hosts almost lost concentration some minutes later.

However, they were back in the game when  Flavie Lemaitre even the scoreline in the 40th minute of exciting match action.

The half time pep talk appeared to have boosted the morale of Guingamp and they came back after recess in confident mood.

Guingamp were determined not to be outshone by the hosts and Griedge Mbock Bathy Nka tapped-in to score her second of the day.

Salma Amani wreaked havoc giving her side a two-goal cushion in the 58th minute.

On the hour mark, Anaïs Ribeyra ensured that the game will end in a tensed manner as she pulled a goal back for Rodez.
 
The travelers put the game beyond doubt in the 74th minute courtesy of star striker Desire Oparanozie.

The victory took fourth-placed Guingamp to 40 points in the French topflight, 16 points behind leaders Lyon, who pummeled Juvisy 4-0 on Saturday.
