Charity Cup Victory Delights Tari
Published: January 01, 2015Goalkeeper Pibowei Amabetari has expressed delight at playing a huge role for Ejele Academy in the recently concluded Emete Charity Cup.
The 2012 National Sports Festival product was in inspirational form for the grassroots team in the competition played at the Sapele Main Stadium.
The tournament attracted a total of eight teams and was full of entertainment.
Ejele Academy edged Lilly Academy 1 - 0 to win the tournament and the goal minder expressed joy with the feat.
“At the beginning of the competition we struggled a bit, but we continued to improve as the games went on” Amabetari told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Delta State goalkeeper in the 2012 NSF saved two penalty kicks and stated that God is the reason for his spot kick heroics.
“In the 2012 NSF I saved close to four kicks and do not see any big deal in it. I owe everything to God,” the goalkeeper continued.
On his next move for the new season, Tari as he is known by admirers stated he is open to any good club in the Nigeria National League and the Nigeria Professional Football League.
