Arsenal Offer Chuba Akpom New Three - Year Contract
Published: January 14, 2015In an attempt to ward off suitors, Londoners Arsenal have offered a new three - year deal to Anglo - Nigerian Chuba Akpom.
The London Evening Standard says the Gunners chiefs are keen on extending his stay at the Emirates, with his current contract set to expire this June.
And it means, the 19 - year - old can start discussing with the plethora of teams he has been linked with in the January transfer window this month, assuming he rejects the proposal from Arsenal.
The England youth international has been rumoured to be wanted by Feyenoord, FC Twente and Borussia Dortmund plus Man City, Spurs and Everton.
Chuba Akpom has played nonstop for Arsenal since the age of 8.
