Supreme Court Squad Battle 3SC, Sharks In Ijebu Ode
Published: January 27, 2015Nigeria National League, NNL campaigners Supreme Court FC of Abuja will as from Friday take on Shooting Stars of Ibadan in a pre-season tournament scheduled for Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode in Ogun State between January 29 and February 4.
Tagged Gold Cup, the Apex Boys who have already resumed preparation for 2014/2015 league season will depart Abuja on Wednesday ahead of the annual soccer event.
Ahead of the competition, Supreme Court FC General Manager Tolulope Oguntimehim expressed happiness with its organization adding “I’m happy that we will be part of the tournament. Our plan is to get the players ready for the huge task ahead.
“We are still putting things in place. The Management is doing all it can to keep the team in shape and I believe that both the players and officials will be focused on the challenges before us.”
Other teams that will battle for honours at the annual championship include; FC Ebedei, Sunshine Stars, Kogi Utd, KFA in group A, while Shooting Stars, Rising Stars and Sharks FC including Supreme Court are drawn in group B.
