This website, making reference to the Bulgarian press, earlier reported that Rostov had opened talks with the Bulgaria powerhouse over the acquisition of the former Spain youth - teamer.
Now, sportal. bg is reporting that Sunny was scouted in the recent test game between CSKA Sofia and Shlyonsk by representatives of an unnamed Bundesliga outfit , and they were impressed with the performance of the Nigeria international.
The German club are planning to contact CSKA Sofia in the coming days over the player’s asking price, after watching him again in action.
Sunny Stephen is under contract with the capital team until the end of next season.
