Yakubu Aiyegbeni Arrives England To Negotiate With Reading
Published: February 02, 2015Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni could return to England two - and - a - half years after quitting the Championship for a spell in China with Guangzhou R&F.
British newspaper The Telegraph says the experienced striker is expected to complete his move to Reading before the end of today.
The Championship outfit are experiencing dwindling margins, and signing Yakubu will be at zero - cost since he is a free agent.
The Julius Berger product has represented five different English clubs - Portmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers.
It is being mooted that the Super Eagle, who is presently in England, will sign a short - term contract, probably until the end of the season.
