Official : Sheyi Ojo Joins Wigan Athletic On Loan
Published: February 02, 2015Football League Championship side Wigan Athletic have signed Sheyi Ojo on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season.
Though the winger has trained with the first team of The Reds this season, manager Brendan Rodgers has rubber-stamped his switch to Wigan to enable him get some game time under his belt.
“I’m looking forward to the prospect of being around the first team here at Wigan,” Ojo told wiganlatics.co.uk.
“Coming here on loan is a very good move for me and I want to repay the faith both managers have had in me.”
Sheyi Ojo was on the bench when Liverpool tackled Burnley and Leicester City in the Premier League earlier this season.
The ex MK Dons starlet has been on the books of Liverpool since 2011.
