Done Deal : Arsenal Snatch Chioma Ubogagu From Under The Noses Of Sky Blue FC
Published: February 12, 2015Through their official Twitter account, Arsenal Ladies have announced the hiring of Chioma Ubogagu from Stanford University on undisclosed terms.
Before sporting the jersey of the United States Under 20 team, Chioma was eligible to represent Nigeria plus England, where she was born.
Speaking after the transfer was completed, Chioma said : “Excited to join @ArsenalLadies! Been a supporter of the club for years, thrilled to now be a player. #DreamComeTrue #Arsenal #COYG.
”
The striker scored 27 goals ( 37 assists) during her four - year stint with Stanford University.
Chioma Ubogagu had been linked with a move to National Women’s Soccer League side Sky Blue FC before pitching tent at Meadow Park, Borehamwood.
