Published: February 13, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Bassey Akpan could make a return to the Nigeria Professional Football League, fours years after departing the shores of the country in search of the proverbial golden fleece.
The 31 - year - old has held preliminary talks with 2014 Federation Cup finalist, Dolphins of Port Harcourt, over a contract.
Bassey Akpan is a free agent after his contract was not renewed by Vietnamese team Hoàng Anh Gia Lai F.C, where he spent three seasons.
