Sani Emmanuel Begins Test With Oskarshamns AIK
Published: March 07, 2015Swedish media has confirmed the report by allnigeriasoccer.com that Sani Emmanuel is on the verge of a switch to a Swedish team.
Barometern.se has informed that the striker has started training with Division One Sodra side Oskarshamns AIK , ahead of being offered a contract in the coming days if he proves his fitness.
It is understood that the ex Lazio youth - teamer was invited to Sweden by the sporting director of Kalmar, Thomas Andersson-Borstam, who later recommended him to Oskarshamns AIK.
“Borstam have worked together with his agent several times before. Kalmar was unable to receive him now and then he tipped us instead
“Probably he stays at least until Wednesday. Then we’ll see,” says sporting director of OAIK, Daniel Thelaus, to Barometern.
Sani Emmanuel played for 45 minutes in the test game against IFK Värnamo on Saturday.
