Official : Emenike Joins Finnish Club FC Ilves
Published: March 17, 2015Finnish club FC Ilves have captured the signature of Nigerian winger Mbachu Uchenna Emenike after impressing the coach during trials in the month of February and March.
The 25 - year - old started four games in the League Cup, and was on target in the 1 - 1 draw with Inter Turku on March 9.
A product of FC Goal, Lagos, Emenike is not a stranger to the Veikkausliiga, having previously worn the jerseys of PS Kemi and RoPS.
In July 2014, he departed Finland for a brief spell in Malta, starring for Naxxar Lions before crossing over to Mosta.
He joins fellow Nigerian offensive player Emmanuel Ihionu Bright at Tammela Stadion, Tampere for the time being.
