Taiwo Awoniyi, Peter Onyekachi On Target As Dream Team Beat Abuja Football College
Published: April 09, 2015Taiwo Awoniyi bagged a brace as the Nigeria Under 23s beat Abuja Football College 3 - 0 in a scrimmage ahead of their trip to Zambia for an All Africa Games qualifier.
The 17 - year - old scored two goals in the first half before he was substituted for Enyimba forward Peter Onyekachi in the second stanza.
Onyekachi, who only resumed training with the Dream Team on Tuesday, justified his inclusion by scoring the third goal.
The Nigeria Under 23s will leave for Lusaka on Thursday for the second leg tie scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The winner over two legs will qualify for the All Africa Games in September.
