Osaguona Ighodaro On Target In 118th Casablanca Derby
Published: April 12, 2015
In the 25th round of games in the Botola Pro League, Raja Casablanca played out a 2 - 2 draw with Wydad Casablanca on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, Osaguona Ighodaro scored the game’s opening goal in the 62nd minute but Wydad struck back with Mustapha Belamkadem scoring an own goal and Zouheir El Moutaraji netting one minute from time.
The league leaders thought they had three points in the kitty only to be denied by Salaheddine Aqqal in the 90th minute.
Osaguona Ighodaro has notched up 7 goals across all competitions since January, with five of them coming in the CAF Champions League.
The game at the Stade Mohamed V was the 118th time both teams faced each other since their formation.
With 46 points, Wydad Casablanca continue to lead the way in Morocco ahead of their bitter rivals Raja, who occupy eighth place.
