Kuban Krasnodar Challenge Lokomotiv Moscow For Carpi Striker Mbakogu
Published: April 24, 2015According to Italian transfer market expert, Alfredo Pedulla, writing for SportItalia, two Russian teams are interested in the signature of Carpi striker Jerry Mbakogu.
As things stand, Lokomotiv Moscow are in pole position for the signature of the 22 - year - old this summer but must see off competition from fellow Russian Premier League side FC Kuban Krasnodar.
In the winter transfer market, it is believed that Mbakogu was valued at six million euros by Carpi .
But his stock has risen to nine million euros within three months, with his goals assisting the Emilia-Romagna - based side reach their objective of being promoted to the top flight.
The Carpi number ten previously starred for Padova and Juve Stabia.
