The other good news for coach Manu Garba is that The Citizens will allow him attend the Flying Eagles get - together in Germany next month if he does not suffer a relapse in the final of the FA Youth Cup or during training.

“Kelechi Iheanacho has started full training with Manchester City’s Academy Team.

“He was supposed to play  against Chelsea Under 18s but was dropped at the last minute because the medical expert wanted to prevent him from suffering a relapse.

“All things being equal, he’ll be in action when the second leg of the FA Youth Cup final is played on the 27th of April.”

The 18 - year - old Iheanacho last starred for Man City in the UEFA Youth League tie against Schalke 04 in February.
