Emmanuel Emenike Involved In Heated Argument With Fenerbahce Goalkeeper
Published: April 28, 2015Emmanuel Emenike is in the news again for the wrong reasons, after he was involved in a heated argument with Fenerbahce’s Turkey international Volkan Demirel during a team meeting.
The influential goalkeeper had cautioned the whole team not to put their foot off the pedal in the remaining six games in the Super Lig.
But, according to Fanatik, the Nigeria international felt slighted by the remarks of Volkan Demirel, and started exchanging words with him.
If not for the intervention of their teammates, who diffused the tension, it would have snowballed into a fight.
