Kelechi Iheanacho scored his maiden goal for Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad in their 3 - 2 win against Leicester City in the semi - final of the International Premier League Cup on Thursday.
The Nigeria youth international joined the fray in the 45th minute at the Academy Stadium as replacement for Portuguese younsgter Jorge Intima.
And that substitution by Patrick Viera had an immediate impact , with Iheanacho leveling the scoreline in the 57th minute.
Panayiotou then restored The Foxes one - goal advantage before Pozo netted the equalizer six minutes from time.
In extra - time, Pozo turned provider, setting up Garcia for the match - winner in the 107th minute.
