Femi Ilesanmi Offered To Clubs By York City
Published: May 14, 2015Through official channels, League Two club York City have announced that Anglo - Nigerian defender Femi Ilesanmi has been declared surplus to requirement.
Ilesanmi will enter the final twelve months of his contract with The Minstermen on July 1 but has been told to look for a new employer ahead of next season after holding talks with manager Russ Wilcox.
A product of AFC Wimbledon, the left back previously spent time at Queens Park Rangers, Ashford Town, Dagenham & Redbridge and Histon before switching to York City in the summer of 2014.
The 24 - year - old suited up 33 times in League this season, picking up two yellow cards in matches against Bury and Portsmouth.
York City finished 18th in the fourth - tier in the regular season.
