Southampton To Challenge Manchester City For Okaka?
Published: June 03, 2015Two English Premier League teams will go head - to - head for the signature of Italian - Nigerian striker Stefano Okaka in the summer, according to the Italian press.
Tuttomercatoweb.com claims Manchester City and Southampton are interested in the Italy international.
Stefano Okaka is tied to Sampdoria until the end of next season and there is a strong possibility that his departure will be sanctioned by the Blucerchiati suits to enable them recoup past investment on the player.
The 25 - year - old hit the back of the net four times in 32 Serie A appearances last term.
Okaka defended the colours of Fulham on loan from Roma in the 2009 - 2010 campaign.
