Compared to their ranking in the month of May, the Super Eagles have climbed two spots, and have a global ranking of 43rd while in the continental ranking the Super Eagles are seventh.
Algeria, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Ghana and Senegal are the best 5 teams in Africa in that order.
Our rivals to book a ticket at the 2017 African Cup of Nations- Egypt, Tanzania and Chad - are ranked 55th, 127th and 172nd respectively.
Germany continue to top the ranking followed by Belgium, Argentina, Colombia and Brazil .
