Official : Leon Balogun Joins Mainz On A Three - Year Deal

Through official channels, Bundesliga side Mainz 05 have announced the
hiring of Nigeria national - teamer Leon Balogun on a three - year deal.
After assisting SV Darmstadt 98 gain promotion to the top flight at the end of last season, the German - born defender was rewarded with a new deal but turned down the offer as he preferred a move to the Coface Arena.
In his first words after signing the contract, Balogun told Mainz official website : “I look forward to the task ahead. Mainz 05 has established itself in recent years in the Bundesliga. I would like also.
