Torino Are In Pole Position For Signature Of Sampdoria Striker Okaka
Published: June 23, 2015As reported by Tuttosport, Torino have leapfrogged Monaco, Nice, and English Premiership pair Southampton and Manchester City in the scramble for Stefano Okaka.
Torino supremo Urbano Cairo has opened talks with his Sampdoria counterpart Massimo Ferrero regarding the possibility of acquiring the one - cap Italy international in the summer.
Sampdoria have placed a 5 million euros tag on Okaka’s head, a relatively huge sum for a player who comes off contract at the end of the 2015 - 2016 campaign.
But Torino have made an initial offer of 4 million euros and will be hoping that an agreement is reached in the next few days.
Stefano Okaka joined Sampdoria in January 2014 from rivals Parma.
