Revealed : Flying Eagles Skipper Musa Mohammed Rejected Rijeka In Favour Of Botched Chelsea Move
Allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that Croatian club HNK Rijeka attempted to sign Flying Eagles defender Musa Mohammed after the 2013 Fifa Under 17 World Cup but were rebuffed by his agent, Adam Mohammed.

The three - time Croatian Cup winner had posted scouts to run the rule over the fullback during the tournament in the United Arab Emirates and were impressed with his performance.

After the tournament, Rijeka suits had offered him a three - year deal, only for agent Adam Mohammed to turn down the offer as he claimed that his client was heading to Chelsea, which did not materialize in the long run.

The Croatian vice - champions were willing to pay Musa Mohammed 100,000 euros annual wages to seal the deal.

The 18 - year - old was later linked with a switch to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas but the deal hit a brick wall.
