AS Roma Dismiss Link With Eskisehirspor Midfielder Raheem Lawal
Published: June 27, 2015Italian club AS Roma have dismissed reports at home and abroad linking them with a move for Eskisehirspor midfielder Raheem Lawal.
Eskisehirspor’s technical director, Bahadir ünalan, had sensationally claimed that he was evaluating an offer from The Giallorossi but it now appears that he was discussing with a wrong party.
A Roma insider told allnigeriasoccer.com : “Roma are not interested in Raheem Lawal, they have many midfielders.”
It is known that the Nigeria international was offered to Galatasaray and Besiktas in the January transfer window but nothing came out of it.
Raheem Lawal has two more years before his deal with Eskisehirspor will expire.
