The 2013 African Cup of Nations hero had claimed that clubs based in Germany, Russia, France and Portugal (including Boavista) had expressed interest in his signature before he decided to pitch tent at Malatya Ä°nönü Stadium.
At CA Bastia, where he was for one - and - half seasons, Mba was a big fish in a small pond but the midfielder had to look for greener pastures after the Corsican outfit suffered relegation for the second straight season.
Cumulatively, the 26 - year - old appeared 43 times for CA Bastia in the Ligue 2 and Championnat National, scoring 5 goals.
Yeni Malatyaspor finished top of the Second League table last season.
