Exclusive : John Obi Mikel Demands $5 Million Per Season To Join Qatari Club
Published: July 04, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria international John Obi Mikel might see his proposed move to an unnamed Qatari club collapse due to his excessive wage demands.
The Chelsea striker gave his word that he will join the Qatar Stars League team if they offer him $5million per season but this has not been met yet.
Obi Mikel also gave assurances that he would be able to convince Chelsea to lower his asking price for him to move to Qatar.
In the 2014 - 2015 campaign, the 28 - year - old had his worst game time since moving to Stamford Bridge nine years ago, having clocked up 693 minutes in 18 English Premier League games.
Mikel’s camp is also believed to be in talks with United Arab Emirates side Al-Wahda.
