Dutch Coach Tahseen Jabbary Throws Hat Into The Ring To Replace Sacked Emordi
Nigeria Professional Football League champions Kano Pillars have sacked Okey Emordi as coach following a dismal run of results that saw them knocked out of the Federation Cup.

Former Nigeria international Ahmed Yaro Yaro has been appointed to manage the side on an interim basis until a new coach is announced after a board meeting on Tuesday.

Dutch coach Tahseen Jabbary, who has handled Asian clubs Al-Majd and Al - Oruba, has indicated his interest to take over from Okey Emordi, Kano Pillars have announced through official sources.

Halfway through the season, Kano Pillars are ninth in the standings, with nine points separating them from log leaders Sunshine Stars.

Okey Emordi lasted 18 months at the Sani Abacha Stadium before he was relieved of his duties.
