Official : Chris Iwelumo Appointed Wolves U18s Coach
Published: July 22, 2015Retired Scotland international Chris Iwelumo has been appointed the Head Coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers Under - 18 squad, reports the official website of the Championship side.
The 36 - year - old spent two seasons at Molineux, scoring 16 goals in 52 appearances before moving to Watford in 2011.
“I am really pleased that Chris has accepted our offer to lead the Under 18’s,” said Academy Manager Gareth Prosser to wolves.co.uk.
“After a thorough interview process, with some excellent candidates, Chris showed a great character with a real willingness to learn and desire to improve the players.”
The former Charlton Athletic and Burnley striker will be in charge when the U18s travel to Holland for a training camp on Monday, July 27.
