Kelechi Iheanacho To Challenge Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero And Dzeko For Man City Goal Of The Season
Published: July 23, 2015Nigeria youth international Kelechi Iheanacho is in the running for the Nissan Goal of the Season awarded to the most eye - catching goal scored by a Manchester City player during the 2014 - 2015 season.
To scoop the award, the attacking midfielder will compete with some of the illustrious names in the game including the current African Footballer of the Year Yaya Toure .
Other names that made the shortlist as published the official website of The Citizens include Arsenal old boy Samir Nasri, Sergio Aguero, Bosnia and Herzegovina star Edin Dzeko, Serbia national - teamer Aleksandar Kolarov and Three Lionesses midfielder Toni Duggan.
The 18 - year - old Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated for his wonder goal against Manchester United.
