Victor Moses Promises To Work On His Finishing
Published: July 23, 2015Victor Moses thought he had given Chelsea the lead in their friendly against New York Red Bulls after he was set up by Obi Mikel, only for the ball to rebound off the post.
Ahead of the next pre- season fixture against PSG, the winger who lasted 45 minutes against the Americans has promised to make amends if he is presented with a similar opportunity.
“I thought I had scored but that is part of the game,” Moses said to chelseafc.com
“I shall work hard now on my finishing and next time when I have the same opportunity, I will put the ball in the back of the net.
“The legs are little bit tired and you know what the first pre-season game is like, but we have just got to pick ourselves back up and we are looking forward to the next game against PSG.”
The Nigeria international featured in 23 games for Stoke City last term and scored 4 goals.
