Exclusive : Aaron Samuel Move To CSKA Moscow Called Off
Published: August 25, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria international Aaron Samuel’s proposed move to CSKA Moscow has collapsed
For more than eight months, the Guangzhou R&F striker’s intermediary, the Chinese club and Roman Babaev, sporting director of CSKA Moscow, were locked in talks as regards to the player moving to the Russian Premier League.
But those discussions have not led to Aaron Samuel penning a deal with CSKA Moscow after the interested club failed to meet his asking price of five million euros.
It is thought that the leadership of the Muscovites finally threw in the towel because they were frustrated with the antics of Guangzhou R&F, who were not consistent during negotiations.
Amid interest from a few other European teams, Aaron Samuel has been advised to remain with Guangzhou R&F until at least the January transfer window.
